We all have the teenager we once were within ourselves. Our experiences have shaped us into the adults of today. We need to empower our youth to understand the dominant culture portrayed throughout the media to enable them to be their true authentic self!
About Me

- I am a middle school teacher in Providence, RI at a small, alternative middle school for students who have experienced little success in the traditional school setting. Besides teaching, I am also a PhD student in education. I am interested in urban girls and how they navigate in a coeducational setting.
